Deskripsi Singkat MK Mata kuliah Bahasa Inggris Pariwisata dirancang untuk membekali mahasiswa dengan kompetensi komunikasi bahasa Inggris dalam konteks industri pariwisata melalui penguasaan keterampilan listening, speaking, reading, dan writing secara terpadu. Bahan kajian mata kuliah ini meliputi pengenalan ruang lingkup pembelajaran dan topik kajian selama satu semester, kemampuan berbagi pengalaman dan hobi, pemahaman teks berbahasa Inggris bertema pariwisata, keterampilan mendeskripsikan gambar, figur populer, dan destinasi wisata, simulasi memperkenalkan tempat wisata secara individu maupun kelompok, penggunaan bahasa persuasif untuk menarik wisatawan, teknik memparafrase artikel pariwisata, penyusunan percakapan dan storytelling berbasis gambar berseri, praktik komunikasi dengan wisatawan asing, penyusunan laporan perjalanan wisata, serta penerapan ekspresi hospitality dan tourism services dalam pelayanan wisata. Proses pembelajaran dilaksanakan melalui pendekatan Outcome Based Education (OBE) berbasis praktik, simulasi, diskusi, presentasi, dan project based learning guna mendukung tercapainya kemampuan komunikatif mahasiswa yang profesional, adaptif, dan relevan dengan kebutuhan dunia industri pariwisata.
