CPL 9 Mampu menerapkan metode ilmiah dalam penelitian bidang bahasa dan pendidikan Bahasa Inggris untuk menghasilkan kajian akademik dasar yang valid, logis, dan sistematis.
Capaian Pembelajaran Mata Kuliah (CPMK)
CPMK 7 Mahasiswa mampu menganalisis dan mengevaluasi secara logis, kritis, serta sistematis berbagai pendekatan, metode, atau teknologi pembelajaran bahasa Inggris (misalnya blended learning, AI-assisted language tools, atau communicative approach) dengan mempertimbangkan konteks budaya, sosial, dan nilai humaniora (seperti inklusivitas, empati, dan keadilan pendidikan), sehingga menghasilkan rekomendasi perbaikan yang komprehensif dan kontekstual.
CPMK 17 Mahasiswa mampu melaksanakan riset sederhana di bidang pendidikan bahasa Inggris sesuai kaidah ilmiah dan metode penelitian yang tepat (contoh: survei, analisis konten, atau eksperimen kelas), dengan mengumpulkan, menganalisis, dan menginterpretasikan data secara akurat untuk mengatasi permasalahan spesifik (seperti peningkatan literasi digital siswa), serta menghasilkan temuan yang sesuai kaidah akademik tingkat sarjana dan layak untuk didiseminasikan dalam forum akademik atau publikasi ilmiah
CPMK 25 Mahasiswa mampu merumuskan masalah penelitian, tujuan, dan hipotesis (atau pertanyaan penelitian) secara ilmiah di bidang keilmuan bahasa Inggris (misalnya analisis kesalahan berbahasa, pengaruh bilingualisme terhadap penguasaan grammar, atau efektivitas strategi pengajaran reading), serta merancang desain penelitian yang tepat sesuai metode ilmiah (kualitatif, kuantitatif, atau campuran), termasuk pemilihan populasi, sampel, dan instrumen pengumpulan data yang valid dan reliabel.
CPMK 26 Mahasiswa mampu melaksanakan langkah-langkah metode ilmiah dalam penelitian bidang bahasa Inggris, yaitu mengumpulkan data secara sistematis (melalui observasi kelas, wawancara, kuesioner, tes bahasa, atau analisis korpus), mengolah dan menganalisis data dengan teknik yang sesuai (misalnya analisis tematik, statistik deskriptif/inferensial, atau content analysis), serta menafsirkan hasil secara objektif dan logis untuk menjawab pertanyaan penelitian
